The Chase Cash Plus Rewards Visa Card is issued by Chase and is excellent for those with very good credit scores who are interested in cash back rewards programs. This card has a comparatively high percentage of return rates, and it is fairly easy to earn reward points towards cash back bonuses. This credit card has the benefits of no annual fee, and a 0% APR for the first twelve months if the applicant qualifies. This introductory APR applies to both purchases and balance transfers. After the first year, the APR remains relatively low on both purchases and balance transfers for cardholders with reasonably good credit. There is also a 20 day grace period before interest accumulates on new purchases. This card has no annual fee. Credit limits are determined by your credit score. The cash back rewards program offers cardholders 5 points for every dollar spent on everyday purchases, such as those made at grocery stores and gas stations. All other purchases earn 1 point per every dollar spent. After accumulating 2,500 points, the cardholder is entitled to a check for $25 or a gift certificate to any participating store. Available gift certificates include Home Depot, Best Buy, Pier One Imports, Macy's, and more. Cardholders may earn a maximum of 60,000 points per year, and points expire if not redeemed within three years of accumulation. Points may be redeemed once they reach an amount of 2,500 or more. This card also offers platinum member benefits to approved cardholders, including up to $500,000 in travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, and travel and emergency assistance. The Chase Cash Plus Rewards Visa uses a two-cycle average daily balance method to calculate finance charges. If the cardholder does not pay the balance down each billing cycle and carries a balance over from month to month, this can result in higher rates than would result with the average daily balance method used by most credit cards. However, if the balance is paid each month and not allowed to accumulate, there will not be a noticeable difference in finance charges. to any purchase, as opposed to some cards which only calculate cash back for certain types of purchases, the Chase Cash Plus Rewards Visa is a good choice. Compared to other cards which offer cash back rewards programs, this card makes point accumulation more accessible, and has a lower APR than would be expected. |
