The CitiŽ UpromiseŽ Card is a platinum mastercard, which is issued by CitiBank and caters for those with a very good credit history and rating. This credit card offers rewards in the form of rebates, which are then applied to professionally run college savings funds. Cardholders will earn one point for every dollar spent on purchases through the cars, and additional points may be available through selected retailers. There is a maximum $300 limit on points that can be accumulated each year.
There is no annual fee to pay with this credit card, and no fees are payable on cards for additional cardholders. In addition to this, the card offers a twenty day grace period. New cardholders can enjoy a twelve month introductory rate of 0% interest, and this applies to balance transfers. The standard APR is 14.24% variable.
Cardholders should also familiarize themselves with the various fees associated with this credit card. A charge of between $15 and $39 is made on late repayments, and if you exceed your credit limit you will be charged a $35 flat fee. Balance transfer fees and cash advance fees are charged at either three percent or five dollars, and there us a maximum charge of $75 per balance transfer transaction.
