The Profit from Chase MasterCard® is a rewards credit card that is designed for those with a good or excellent credit score and history. This credit card is a platinum card, and offers a zero percent interest rate on transfer balances for a period of nine months. There is no annual fee attached to this credit card, and the interest rates stand at 14.49 APR variable on purchases and 21.49 APR variable on cash advances. The 0% period is for nine months but only applied to balances transferred on to the credit card from other cards or loans.
This credit card from Chase offers consumers up to a three percent rebate on gas, grocery, and restaurant purchases, and up to one percent on other purchases depending on the balance of the credit card. There is no limit on rebates that can be earned, although there is a six month expiry on rebates. Cards for additional cardholders are also available at no extra cost.
You can also expect some standard cardholder benefits with this credit card, some of which include: Internet account management services, lost and stolen card reporting, emergency cash or card replacement, protection against fraudulent transactions, purchase protection, extended warranties, travel accident insurance, insurance on car rentals, roadside assistance, and travel and emergency assistance.
There are also some associated fees to look out for with this card. If you make late repayments you can expect a charge of between $15 and $39, and this is dependant upon the balance of your credit card. If your card exceeds its credit limit, Chase will apply a $35 charge. There are also charges on cash advances, which currently stand at $10 or three percent. Balance transfers are charged at three percent or five dollars minimum, with a $75 maximum charge per balance transfer transaction. |
