Our Review of AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card

The AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card is a mastercard that is issued by Citibank. This card caters for those with average and good credit, and offers rewards in the form of cash rebates on purchases. Cardholders can enjoy a five percent rebate on purchases made at gas stations, drug stores, and supermarkets, and a one percent rebate is also available on other purchases made with the credit card. Rebates do not expire but there is a $300 limit on the amount of rebate that can be earned in any one year.

There is no annual fee on this credit card, and cardholders can also benefit from an introductory interest rate of 0% on balance transfers for twelve months. There is a variable interest rate of 10.99 percent on purchases made on the credit card, and for cash advances the AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card charges 22.49 percent variable. Cards are available to additional cardholders at no extra cost.

This credit card offers a range of additional cardholder benefits, and these include: Internet account management, calling card facility, automatic bill payment service, fraud and security protection, purchase protection, extended warranty for purchases, protection on unauthorized transactions, travel accident insurance, car rental insurance and discounts, and year end financial statements.

Late repayment fees on this Citibank credit card range from $15 to $29 depending on the balance of the credit card. Unauthorized borrowing that takes the account over the limit is charged at $35, and there is a three percent or five dollar fee on cash advances. Balance transfers are charged at three percent or five dollars minimum, with a $75 maximum charge per balance transfer transaction.
