Each of the payment systems have their privilege card and in the case of Diners Club it’s the Carte Blanche Card. So, what are the exclusive benefits you can be privilege to if you become a member?
- Concierge Service:as you would expect from any 5-star concierge service, the services offered by this personal assistant include making reservations for dinner, entertainment, sporting events or general social occasion. The concierge can also offer travellers shopping suggestion of where to buy that special gift when you are in town.
- Travel Service: as a card member you’ll enjoy the luxury of travel requirements tailored to meet your needs. Not only do you get exclusive travel opportunities and privileged access to events and places otherwise restricted, but when available you also get automatic upgrades when you travel.
- International cell phone rental : if you are travelling away from home then you can get access to a mobile phone in any one of 140 countries around the world simply by being a member of this privilege package. Moreover, you have unlimited international phone calls when using the phone.
- Hotel privileges: along with various travel upgrades and privileges, you can also avail yourself to the lavish premier hotel treatment and assistance with selection of the hotel of your choice as a member.
- Foreign currency: if you happen to run out of money on your travels, cardholders are offered a guaranteed next business day delivery of foreign currency directly to a location of your choice.
With all of these privileges and more, it is not hard to see how the Diners Club Carte Blanche Card has become a name associated with elegance since its revival in 2000. Careful though, membership to this exclusive club comes with an approximate annual membership fee of $300 -, so you really need to be affluent or have business travels that warrant this fee. On the other hand, as is the case with most charge cards, payment of your Card Blanche Card statement is required to be made in full each month and it is extremely unlikely that you are going to be able to carry-over a balance to a subsequent statement period, so you do not have to fret over having to pay large sums of money in interest each year – which certainly makes the annual membership fee look a lot more attractive!
